Optimization of Taxi Allocation for Minimizing CO2 Emissions Based on Heuristics Algorithms

چکیده
Recently, the rapid climate change caused by increasing CO2 emissions has become a global concern. Efficient transportation systems are necessary to reduce in cities. Taxi services an essential part of system, both urban areas with high demand and rural inadequate public transportation. Inefficient taxi cause problems such as increased idle times, resulting emissions. This study proposes allocation model that minimizes time costs for efficient service operation. We also propose three heuristic algorithms solve proposed model. At last, we conduct case using real data Nagaoka, Japan. By comparing algorithms, dynamic greedy algorithm produced best result terms cost CPU time. The findings indicate minimizing reducing number taxis, it is possible achieve significant 81.84% reduction within sector. Further, order estimate sensitivity considered.

For most English words, dictionaries give various senses: e.g., “bank” can stand for a financial institution, shore, set, etc. Automatic selection of the sense intended in a given text has crucial importance in many applications of text processing, such as information retrieval or machine translation: e.g., “(my account in the) bank” is to be translated into Spanish as “(mi cuenta en el) banco”...
متن کاملSolving Timetabling Problems Using Genetic Algorithms Based on Minimizing Conflict Heuristics
This paper describes techniques that can be applied to large-scale real-life employee timetabling problems. The problems are characterized as constraint satisfaction problems. The solution methodology uses genetic algorithms to minimize the total penalty for constraint violation. An encoding for search space reduction, genetic operation for a quick accumulation of partial solutions, and a penal...
متن کاملSlot Allocation Algorithms 1 Running head: SLOT ALLOCATION ALGORITHMS SLOT ALLOCATION ALGORITHMS FOR MINIMIZING DELAY IN ALARM-DRIVEN WSNS APPLICATIONS
Energy-efficiency and latency requirements in alarm-driven Wireless Sensor Networks often demand the use of TDMA protocols with special features such as cascading of timeslots, in a way that the sensor-to-sink delay bound can stay below the duration of a single frame. However, this single TDMA frame should be as small as possible. The results presented in this paper, point to the conclusion tha...

“North-South Convergence and the Allocation of CO2 Emissions,” by Humberto Llavador (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) John E. Roemer (Yale University) Joaquim Silvestre (University of California, Davis) We postulate a two-region world, comprised of North (calibrated after the US) and South (calibrated after China). Our optimization results show the compatibility of the following three desiderata: (1) ...
